Mirror... Mirror...

I am in the middle of a HUGE bedroom re-do.. O My. I currently just got done re-painting our King size master bedroom set ( I feel like I'm going to go crazy...) The reason it needs to be re-painted is because of one simple little mistake I made. Polyurethane on top of white paint..  A HUGE NO-NO!!!! I never knew that you were not supposed to put polyurethane on white paint.. why didn't anyone tell me?!? The result was yellow splotches all over the bed, dressers, & night stand... I wanted to cry because I already painted the whole set like 3 months ago & it was SO much work.... now I am back at it.
The new bedding came in today from Pottery Barn, & the walls will be painted a next week. I wanted to show you a mirror I worked on yesterday for the master bedroom that I found at a local Goodwill. but first here is a little "before" or "current" picture of our master bedroom that I am re-doing....

Read More About the Master Bedroom Here

... The master bedroom is okay how it is, but that's just it.. okay. I am not in love.. I am so excited for all the changes & to show you the After picture very soon!!! Anyways here is the mirror before & After that will be featured in the new Master Bedroom...

I got this little gem at Goodwill for under twenty dollars... Winning!!

Okay. Keep in mind this room including wall color is changing in a few days.. & yes this is one of the dressers that is currently being re-painted.

I love these.. They go with the new bedroom very well. Such a great alternative to do with your candle holders you already had. I found these stick balls at my local craft store. & The candle holders are from TJ Maxx, but I have also found these exact same ones at a few local boutiques.

The new mirror is fresh & will be a great accent piece in the new bedroom... Again, I can't wait to show you all the new room. And since it's my birthday tomorrow, I wanted to show you a cute little gift I received in the mail today...

Coming home today from work to a porch full of presents the day before my birthday was amazing. Being a thousand miles away from my husband & family is hard, but they all seem to know how to still make my birthday a special day.. Tomorrow my little booty will be 23!! wow.
Hope you all are having a fabulous week....

  22. I've totally made that mistake {with the poly} on my hutch, thankfully I only had to repaint the drawers :) I would have cried too! I use polyacrylic {it's waterbased} and it dries crystal clear now!

subject matter, it may not be a taboo matter but typically people
