The final result...
I painted many layers of different shades of white on the furniture & gave it a subtle antique distressed look.
Before....
The new light color of the furniture brightens up the whole room & makes it look completely different. I was scared at first for such a dramatic change, but I have fallen in Love.

ReplyDeleteWhat is your wall color? And how did you talk your husband into letting you paint the furniture!?! Our bedroom furniture is cherry, too...it drives me crazy.
I really like this bedroom furniture. But I do not like the color white because the white color will be easy to look dirty. So I prefer a slightly darker color. But the existing furniture in your post seems to have been damaged at the edges. Too bad, nice furniture like it's been scratched.
