Vintage Keys...

You may remember my framed vintage keys from my entryway post I did a while back. I made these framed vintage keys with three small black shadow boxes & added three vintage keys from Pottery Barn. Well, I always loved them, but something always bothered me about them. I hated how the keys kind of blended into the black background. So, yesterday I added some fun Wallpaper samples to the back.. & I Love how they turned out...

Before...

The keys got lost in the black background...

After...

Love the Results

Thanks for stopping by to see this quick little before & after. I am so glad that I did this.. I am even thinking about painting the frames, but that's for another day. Hope you all are having a great weekend! Don't forget to stop by Liz Marie Blog Facebook Page to share your DIY projects & more!!

xx

  36. Great idea, Liz Marie! They really pop now! I did my PB keys in one long frame with a linen background, but I'm looking to change them up a bit. I think a shadowbox frame might be a good idea for a few of them.
