Friendship owls before....
Friendship owls After...
This weekend we are going home to MICHIGAN!! I am so excited because we have not been home since August 2010, so I have been getting so excited to see family & friends. I love to have things around my house that remind me of friends and family while I'm missing them here in NC. Here are just a few more items around my house that remind me of all the wonderful people in my life...
Hydrangeas always remind me of my grandma.. They are my favorite flower & some of them in my house were given to me by her.
This tree decal was given to me by my wonderful sister-in-law. I am glad that I found a way to show it off for me to always think about her.
I painted this coffee cup with one of my best friends, Jess, at a pottery place when she came to visit me here in NC.. Always makes me think of the fun times we had on her visit.
Hope you loved seeing a few things in my house that remind me of friends and family. Do you have things around your house that remind you of your friends and family? ReplyDeleteI just stumbled onto your blog and find this post hilarious because I also have two friendship owls. My boyfriend and I love to thrift together so on one of our shopping days when I saw two ceramic owls (one big and one a little smaller) I just knew we had to have them. He laughed at me but went along so we each have one. You are just beautiful by the way!
ReplyDeleteI like what you did to the owls!
ReplyDeleteFinally (actually) following you! The last time I was here I guess I forgot to. Anyhow, love your blog.

Oh Liz I'm having a fascination with owls right now! Not because it seems to be in but honestly because I just saw the Guardians Of Gahoul last week and was just taken with their beauty. However... don't ask me how I feel when they are purched on my roof top hoo'ing all night keeping me awake! lol.
ReplyDeleteI would be delighted if you would link this up to my VIP party today :) http://designergarden.blogspot.com/2011/03/guess-what-were-back-online-for-weekly.html
