Random fact... my last post,
was my 100th blog post.
I can't believe it, I have
not even had my blog a year yet.
not even had my blog a year yet.
That's a lot of posts & I'm looking
forward to many more!!
This week I made a not so lovely dresser
very lovely with a little tlc & a few coats
of a lovely green....
Working on this dresser had it's highs & lows.
I wasn't sure about this dresser until the end
when it all came together, & that's
when I fell in love.
Before...
Maybe I was inspired my Christmas colors, but
for some reason I thought this dresser had to be green.
This is one of my pieces of work that
really shows my style...
I find beauty in imperfections.
The detail of the dresser really
makes this piece a one of a kind.
& a little distressing really brought
a new life to this beautiful piece of furniture.
A Vase, antique books, a picture frame & an old window
are great accessories for this lovely dresser.
I decided to go with oil rubbed bronze hardware
to give the dresser a rustic feel.
Well there is one of my favorite pieces I have
painted. I love it. This piece is available for sale in
I hope you are all having a great weekend.
My weekend has been full of
cozy clothes, cuddling under blankets, &
sipping hot tea because
my o my was it a cold one in NC &
I love it!! Bring on the fall!!
xx Liz Marie
