Do you ever have those times
where you have a million projects in your
head that you want to start,
so your mind goes a thousand miles a minute
thinking about these projects & which one you will start first?
I have a problem.
I have a growing list of projects for around my house
& not enough time in a day to do them all.
From remodeling the laundry room
to making all my black furniture white.
Things are getting crazy
in the Galvan household.
Stay tuned for all these changes.
That is, If I don't go insane before they all happen.
I wish I could snap my fingers & have it all be the way I want it,
but that would be no fun... or would it??
hmmmm...
Here is an antique dresser I revamped a few weeks ago.
I had this dresser a few months now,
Before:
As you can see this dresser needed a little TLC & some
updating...
I chose a french gray color to simplify
& make the piece clean and crisp
This dresser will be for sale in my shop.
If I had a baby,
it would not be for sale, it would be in a nursery.
I fell in love with the shape & the cute
little legs.
This weekend was filled with DIY
projects to makeover our living room furniture.
More on that later...
I got a screw in my foot today.
that was not the highlight of my Sunday,
but it was a first for me.
O, also I am featured over
at Remodelaholic's blog.
Pretty sweet huh?
Go check out the post!

Speaking of your black furniture, where did you get your living room furniture? i love it!
ReplyDeleteI got our Coffee Table & End tables at Furniture Liquidators. Very nice quality for a good price!
ReplyDeleteSuch a beautiful fresh color! I see these kinds of dressers on Craigslist all the time, I might have to get myself one! And I know exactly what you mean about having a million projects. I have to remind myself to walk before I run or else, I'll be creating projects faster than I can accomplish them :) Hope you had a lovely weekend!
ReplyDeleteThis is beautiful! Love it!
ReplyDeletethis is pretty! how much are you selling it for?
ReplyDeleteI am feeling the same way, especially since I started a blog to help motivate me to get things done. So far it has motivated me, but I am also starting a few too many things at once. :)
ReplyDeleteLove that dresser! I adore legs on furniture! Legs on dressers and bookcases really get me.
I am obsessed with French Gray lately. It is so versatile! The dresser looks great.

Wow! I had that same dresser as a baby. I feel old. lol
ReplyDeleteLove how you turned it around!
Nice job! I'm just finishing up a dresser. I've learned that not all french grays are alike, four coats of paint later.
ReplyDeleteI love this transformation! I would be happy if you would enter it into my brand new Shabby Shares Saturday Link Party at http://rustic-crafts.com
ReplyDeleteLiz, congratulations on getting another project checked off of the never ending list. The dresser looks wonderful. I like the simplicity of it not too flashy.
ReplyDeleteI think I just started refurbing a piece that goes with this line. My last post has pictures.. We sanded off the shiny layer and it was a P-A-I-N! (:
ReplyDeleteLove your finished product!
