To me, having my husband come home after a 7 month deployment is one of the best days of my life, right up there with my wedding day. So many emotions.. I went from tears, to laughing, to jumping in his arms, to crying again..I can't explain it, all I can say is it is the best feeling in the world.. Everyone knows that Jose is the love of my life, and the best thing that has ever happened to me. We are best friends and soul mates.. He was more than worth the 7 month wait. I would do it for the rest of my life if I had to for him. I wanted to do something special with the pictures that my friend (RachLea Photography) took for me, besides putting them in a photo album. I thought I would share this video I made of the collection of pictures from his homecoming. The song in the video is, "Wait for Me" by Theory of A Deadman, and the words could not be more perfect...
Being a military wife is not easy, but it gives you a sense of pride and many more rewarding feelings. I am so proud of my husband and everything that he does. Like I said before he is more than worth the wait. I hope you enjoyed the video and pictures of my amazing day!!
By the way, he never really did pee his pants haha...

I don't have anybody close in the military but I always think of how hard it must be for all the relatives and how thankful we should all be to each and every single one of them.

I loved your video!Actually i am in a kind of similar situation cause my boyfriend is in the army now, 1000km away from his town.Tomorrow morning he is coming home and he is going to stay 18days!!!(then he will be back in the army for a couple of months and then it will be over!).I am going to take him from the airport tomorrow morning and i am really excited!I definitely have in my mind your video when i will see him coming to hug me! :-)

This video brought tears to my eyes. I know exactly how you felt, cause my husband was in the Marines and deployed twice. He actually got to meet our son for the first time on his last return from Iraq. Watching other homecomings still brings back so much emotion and I feel a sense of pride. Very touching post!
Um. WOW. I just cried!! I just got engaged, married, and at the beginning of the year will be sending my husband out for deployment within the last 6 months! This just brought up a ton of emotions for me! SO SWEET! and such a great idea to have it photographed. I will be doing the same.

I have 3 siblings in the military and this video brought me to tears. Thanks alot...I actually looked cute too. Anyways...it was very sweet!
